Lt. Col (Dr.) Robert "SOJU" Ryu is an orthopaedic spine surgeon & Adjunct Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. Dr Ryu graduated with highest hones from UC Berkeley for undergrad and University of Illinois at Chicago for medical school. He completed his residency in Orthopaedics at The Ohio State University and subsequently the renowned Spinal Surgery Fellowship Program at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California.

Dr. Ryu also currently serves as a Senior Flight Surgeon with the 112th Fighter Squadron in the Ohio Air National Guard where he regularly flies in the F-16 Fight Falcon. He has multiple previous deployments as an Active Duty flight surgeon for the USAF.
